About Our Founder

Steven McCann is a recognised leader in workplace wellbeing, mentoring, and corporate culture transformation. With over 15 years of experience across the legal, financial, and corporate sectors, he has worked with global law firms, financial institutions in New York, and leading legal services firms across EMEA.

As Founder & Director of MCG Consulting, Steven helps businesses move beyond surface-level awareness into real, measurable change. Through tailored mentoring, training, and workplace wellbeing programmes, MCG addresses mental health, addiction awareness, burnout, leadership development, social mobility, and inter-generational mentoring. He believes that connection is the foundation of lasting change and without it, workplaces remain stagnant, and talent is lost.

Steven’s work is deeply personal. Having faced first-hand challenges in high-performance industries, he understands the pressure, stigma, and isolation that many professionals experience. This fuels his passion for building workplaces where people thrive, not just survive.

He is also Deputy Chair of the Board of Trustees & Chair of the Network Development Group at ReachOut, a leading mentoring charity, where he works to expand opportunities for young people aged 11-14 from underrepresented backgrounds.
