About
Mentoring Connect Growth (MCG) - Corporate Recovery Fellowship Programme Transforming Lives Through Support and Fellowship The objective of this program is to establish and maintain internal networks within companies for individuals in recovery to support each other and organise well-being events. This initiative enhances visibility, promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and normalises recovery within corporate environments. Why This Matters: Employees in recovery often face stigma, isolation, and decreased productivity. Without support, their self-management and resilience skills remain underutilised. The UK economy is reported to lose £21 billion to alcohol abuse and £15 billion to drug abuse each year. Key Features: 1. Support Network Creation: Create internal networks for employees in recovery to connect, share experiences, and provide mutual support through regular monthly meetings. 2. Well-being Events: Organise regular well-being events focusing on mental health, recovery stories, and stress management techniques. 3. Consultancy Services: Provide expert consultancy on setting up communities, implementing stigma-busting strategies, and establishing referral pathways to ensure effective and sustainable networks. 4. Stigma Reduction: Promote recovery visibility and acceptance through DEI initiatives, creating a supportive workplace culture. 5. Fellowship at Work: Foster a sense of fellowship and community among employees, encouraging a supportive and inclusive environment.
