One-to-One/Early Intervention

Supporting talented professionals before challenges become crises.

Confidential one-to-one support for talented professionals navigating periods of pressure, challenge or transition.

Not every difficulty needs to become a formal process before someone gets help. Our confidential one-to-one and Early Intervention work exists for exactly that gap: structured, confidential support for senior professionals before pressure, coping behaviours or substance use escalate into crisis.

These conversations can begin before a situation has become a formal organisational issue. Sometimes the underlying pressure is alcohol or drugs. Sometimes it is grief, burnout, family pressure, confidence, or a combination of several things. Our role is not to diagnose or offer clinical opinion, but to provide a trusted, confidential space for an initial conversation and a clear, professional route towards further support where needed.

This work sits alongside our public-facing talks and programmes as the more personal, one-to-one end of what we offer: available to individuals directly, or as part of a wider organisational engagement such as CMAR.

The objective is not crisis management. The objective is to provide support before challenges become crises, helping talented people build resilience, maintain performance, and remain healthy, engaged and effective both professionally and personally.

Our approach combines professional expertise, relevant lived experience, and a deep understanding of the realities of modern professional life. Conversations are tailored to the individual and focus on helping people remain healthy, effective and sustainable whilst navigating periods of challenge, transition or uncertainty.

These sessions can support individuals experiencing:

  • Workplace pressure and stress

  • Leadership and management challenges

  • Grief, loss and significant life events

  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion

  • Relationship and family pressures

  • Alcohol, substance use or other coping behaviours

  • Career transitions and identity changes

  • Confidence, resilience and wellbeing

Organisations are increasingly using these conversations as part of their wider talent retention, wellbeing and leadership support strategies, helping individuals navigate challenges before they begin to affect health, relationships, performance or career progression.

All conversations are conducted with professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.
